I have been involved in some type of artistic medium throughout my life but in 2012 I took a mosaic class and discovered a medium that has captured my creative passion.

As a native Floridian I am also passionate about my state.  I often create mosaic images that embrace Florida's diverse natural landscape.  My painterly style works well for my representational depictions of Florida's water birds and the flora of Florida’s varied landscape.

Each mosaic is created using small pieces of hand cut, colored, art glass placed next to each other to create an image.  The patterning of these placed materials gives shape and substance to the image. My goal is to delight the eye with the complexity and masterful use of these patterns.

I aspire to transport the viewer to a serene and aesthetically pleasing place.  To rest the eye on something lovely, something that says there is beauty in the world just look around you.

I am the mother of five fabulous children, grandmother to ten incredible grandbabies. I graduated from Rollins College. I was born and raised in Miami but I've called Central Florida my home for over 40 years.
